Section 26, Canon VI

SECTION 26. Submission of resolution by the Board of Governors. – The IBP Board of Governors shall have a non-extendible period of ninety (90) calendar days from receipt of the Report and Recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner, within which to submit to the Supreme Court its Resolution adopting, modifying or disapproving such Report and Recommendation. (2023 Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability or CPRA)

1. Submission of resolution by the Board of Governors

a. IBP Board of Governor’s Action

Upon receipt of the Report and Recommendation from the Investigating Commissioners, the IBP Board of Governors are required to act on it by submitting its Resolution either:

1) Adopting,

2) Modifying, or

3) Disapproving

1) Non-extendible 90-day period

The IBP Board of Governor’s Resolution is required to be submitted to the Supreme Court within “a non-extendible period of ninety (90) calendar days from receipt of the Report and Recommendation of the Investigating Commissioner.”
